Trivet or Hot pot with Cyclamen - Rakefet in Hebrew design, fresh and delicate, ideal for your table. This design is part of a flowers of Israel series all designed by gifted Artist Shlomi Gorodetsky, who studied at the Bezalel art school in Jerusalem.
Cyclamens have a tuber, from which the leaves, flowers and roots grow. In most species, leaves come up in autumn, flower through the winter, and then die in spring, then the plant goes dormant through the dry Mediterranean summer.
All our trivets are made of a wood composite and can withstand very high temperatures, so you are welcome to take a pot from the oven and place it on the trivet.
My aim with the flower series was to bring the outside environment indoor. In the winter months the cyclamens are found popping their colours heads through everywhere. They appear in quite wide range of colours in the pink crimson range.
